<p>This weekend&#8217;s Gulf Gaelic Games at Dubai in the United Arab Emirates came to a successful conclusion yesterday evening, Sat 13, with some thrilling final day fare when Qatar took the honours in the Mens Football, while the visitors from Ireland, Thurles in the hurling and Wexford&#8217;s Shelmaliers in the Ladies Football also ran out winners. Earlier today, GaelicSportsCast spoke with Newry native Darragh McGreevy chairman of host club Dubai Celts GAA, about how this year&#8217;s tournament went.</p></div>

Hosted by the Dubai Celts GAA Club, this year marks the fourth consecutive Gulf Games where teams from Singapore, Zimbabwe, UK and the Middle East will be competing for honours in the 7’s tournament.<br />
Some 600 players are participating in the two-day tournament which is sponsored by Dubai Duty Free, and will feature Gaelic Football, Hurling, Ladies Football, Camogie as well as youth football and a local schools hurling exhibition at the state of the art Emirates 7s Sports complex.<br />
