The changing face of Gaelic Sports worldwide is exemplified this week with the touring visit to Ireland of a group of Gaelic footballers from South Africa.
The South Africa Gaels, from the Pretoria and Johannesburg regions, was co-founded in 2010 by English native Paul Carpenter – who discovered football when in Singapore – and this week the club is on a week long tour to Ireland before competing in Friday’s Gulf Gaelic Games in Dubai, UAE.
In the Podcast, GaelicSportsCast caught up with the tour and asked about their first ever trip to Ireland.
