Though the start of the Queensland GAA Championship took place on Sunday there was still some unfinished business left in the men’s football league where a final round clash on Thursday between Harps, tied on points with East Celts (who hand finished all their games), would decide matters.
Harps needed a win over third placed John Mitchells to secure the title while a win by five points or more by the latter would see Easts take the title.
The last time Harps and Mitchells met they produced a thriller with the former edging it and here to tell us how they fared this time around and about the start of the championship on Sunday is Queensland GAA Chairman Seamus Sullivan.
