Weather caused havoc to Gaelic sports schedules over the weekend as both Warwickshire GAA in the UK and Brisbane in Australia had to cancel all games.
Bad weather in Birmingham disrupted the fifth round of the Warwickshire GAA League as conditions made the grounds unplayable and all games in the Senior Football and Intermediate Leagues at Pairc na hEireann had to be postponed.
Meanwhile down under in Queensland, Australia, the city of Brisbane got another weather battering with heavy rains once more causing havoc with all games in the Carpenter Cup mens and ladies football, and hurling, called off.
To complicate matters further for local GAA organizers, next weekend is a Holiday and there is no schedule of games.
Queensland GAA, after having coped with massive flooding last year are finding things equally difficult this season as three nights of the Summer League have been lost to bad weather with only two rounds played to date.
