It will be an all Liverpool final this year in the British Universities GAA Mens Gaelic Football Championship when reigning champions, Liverpool John Moore’s University (LJMU) take on city rival Liverpool Hope University.
In the first semi final, champions LJMU had the upper-hand over Londoner’s, St Mary’s on a scoreline of [11] 0-11 to [5] 1-2, but the second semi final was a much closer affair with Hope in OT edging out last year’s runners-up Napier by two points [9] 1-6 to [7] 1-4.

Meanwhile in the Division 2 A semi finals, Liverpool John Moore’s B team saw off Aberdeen by a goal [13] 1-10 to [10] 0-10, and in the other semi it was an all Scottish affair with Glasgow University having two much for local rivals Glasgow Caledonian [12] 2-6 to [7] 0-7.
Div 2 A Final, Sunday Feb 12 @ 11am Finbarr Field, Blenheim Road, Holbrooks, Coventry.
Division 2 B had to be cancelled on account of frozen pitches.
