Last weekend saw the penultimate round of London domestic club competition with Cup and U21 action bringing down the curtain on the 2011 London GAA season.
In the Mallarkey Cup Final on Saturday, St Anthony’s were trying to add to their recent McCardle Cup win but standing in there way was the more fancied Division 2 finalists and London Junior champions, St Joseph’s.
The McCullough Cup decider saw a repeat of this year’s hurling intermediate final with Fulham Irish out for revenge when taking on champion’s, Michael Cusacks.
And, in the U21 Football Championship Final, the club that has dominated the grade in recent years, St Kiernans were hoping for their fourth title in a row.
