The second last round of domestic GAA competition took place in London over the weekend with ‘Cup action in both football and hurling dominating the schedule at Ruislip.
There was two Cup finals to be decided in football with League winners, Kingdom Kerry Gaels trying to over come St Kiernans in the Conway Cup, while in the Junior competition, the McArdle Cup, Reading side St Anthony’s were hoping to oust the more fancied, Cuchullains.
At Greenford we saw the conclusion to this year’s Division 3 Football League when South London club, Dulwich Harps were up against favourites, Garryowen.
Meanwhile in hurling Kilburn Gaels were trying to add successive Cup titles in as many weeks when taking on London championship runners-up, St Gabriels in the Ryan Cup at Ruislip.
Here to tell us how it all panned out is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.
