#293 ‘Emmetts and Fulham’ add titles as Kingdom’ return to spotlight

It was league finals day in London last weekend with hurling and football titles the top prizes at Ruislip.

Recent London hurling champions, Robert Emmetts were hoping to add the Division 1 League crown in their rematch with St Gabriels and this they did with a bit more to spare this time around.

In the Division 1 Football Final, last year’s winners Neasden Gaels were hoping to salvage their season when taking on Kingdom Kerry Gaels, but it was the Kingdom who after the glory days of the 70s, announced their return with an Extra Time win.

Meanwhile in the Division 2 Football Final, newly crowned London senior champions, Fulham Irish had seven points to spare over plucky junior champions, St Josephs.

Here to fill us in all the action, scorelines and talk about the hectic fixture list for this weekend is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.
