It took a late Wicklow point to deny New York ladies victory in their first All Ireland Junior Football final in over a decade at Croke Park yesterday.
It was a very close battle all through with never more than a brace of points between these two evenly matched sides.
An Emma Clarke free pushed New York ahead with 10 minutes left to play but Wicklow came back to level the score in the dying minutes through Laura Hogan.
