Today in San Francisco we see the start of the principal competition for Gaelic sports in the US, the North American GAA National Finals.
The event is being hosted this year by San Francisco GAA at their new facility, Pairc na nGael at Treasure Island and over the next three days some 85 teams from all across America will be joined by their neighbors, Canada for a festival of hurling, mens football, ladies football and camogie.
In today’s podcast we take a look at the representation from Canada when talking with Canada GAA Secretary, John Flynn , and also chat with North American GAA PRO, Tim Flanagan about the event, the teams and what it means for participants.
