#270 Mac’s, Gaels and Galway into Boston finals but beware Irene…

We have arrived at the penultimate weekend of Boston Northeast championship action with all finals down for decision over the weekend…that’s if Hurricane Irene plays along!

Sunday last saw three epic semi finals where in football, Connemara Gaels saw off Boston Galway in Overtime, Aidan McAnespies in their clash with St Christopher’s stayed unbeaten but just about, while in the senior hurling semi final the in-form Boston Galway had too much for Boston Tipperary.
Boston Galway in the decider against Boston Wexford will be hoping to claim a championship title for the first time in a decade.

But plans could be disrupted as finals set for Saturday and Sunday could be rescheduled to Friday/Saturday as severe weather in the guise of Hurricane Irene may arrive in the Boston area over the weekend.
The finals have to be played before the North American Nationals in San Francisco the following weekend.
The date changes have yet to be confirmed.

Here to tell us all about the semi final action is Northeast GAA PRO, Rory O’Donnell.
