In Canton last weekend we saw the last spots filled for this year’s Boston Northeast GAA Senior Football Championship Playoffs.
Sunday brought the curtain down on the regular senior football campaign with five teams battling it out for four quarter final places.
Unbeaten Aidan McAnespies and second place Connamara Gaels were already through to the semis.
In mens senior hurling meanwhile, it was last chance saloon for bottom of the table Galway as they had to beat table leaders Wexford to have any hope of making a semi final place.
To tell us how it all panned out listen here to Northeast GAA PRO, Rory O’Donnell.
