As the Toronto GAA Mens Senior Football championship gets underway this weekend at Centennial Park in Toronto, Durham have been named number 1 seed after ending top of the table in the league.
That competition saw its final round last weekend – the finals are in September – with Durham grabbing the top spot after their four point win over Toronto Gaels on Sunday. St Mikes secured the other top seed when finishing second to Durham in the league.
At the last round of the Intermediate Mens Football League, Brampton finished in pole position with St Mikes next. Meanwhile, the Ladies Football League continues at present.
Here to tell us about the final rounds, table positions, and the championship schedules is Toronto GAA PRO, Ross McElhone.
