#242 European GAA revs up

It’s all happening of late for Europe GAA as recently the county board launched a new Facebook page and this week sees the unveiling of their cutting edge brand new website europegaa.eu

On the field, the European regional championships in football, hurling, ladies football and camogie competitions are heating up nicely, while excitement is also building ahead of the European County Board (ECB) preparing to send a hurling squad to the new International Junior C Hurling Tournament in Thurles on July 9.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, the best wine could be saved for later in the year as the 3rd Round of this year’s Pan European Mens Football Championship looks to have a home-coming of sorts when the city of Limerick is set to host the final round in early November.

Here to talk about that fantastic occasion, the new website and action on the field of play throughout Europe so far this season is new ECB GAA PRO, Philip O’Conner.
