This weekend’s first ever US National College Hurling Championships ended in a triumph for the young hurlers from Indiana University when they overcame UC Berkeley in a thrilling final yesterday at Gaelic Park, Chicago.
After stormy weather had interrupted Day 1 late Saturday evening, Sunday morning saw Indy account for Purdue in Game 3 on a scoreline of [18] 3-09 to [11] 2-05.
