#219 London boosted by Cork’s Canty

The arrival of former Cork senior hurler, Kevin Canty to London, has greatly boosted the Metropolitans chances of collecting silverware this year as the former Rebel starred in last weekend’s Round 1 Nicky Rackard win over Allianz Division 3B champions, Roscommon.
London were minus a number of regulars due to suspension and injury but nevertheless impressed against plucky Roscommon, who despite falling 10 points behind early in the second half, staged a late rally to leave just two in it at the end. London [22] 1-19 Roscommon [20] 1-17.
Other newcomers from Tipperay and Galway also impressed for London, and, here to tell us about the game is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.
