London and Warwickshire in icy grip

The Big Freeze currently gripping Ireland and England caused game cancellations last weekend and continues to cause havoc with the GAA schedule for this coming weekend.
In Warwickshire last weekend all games had to be cancelled due to the extreme weather and because of the prospect of further inclement conditions, this Sunday’s Dec 5, All Ireland Junior Football Club Championship quarter-final between St Peters of Lancashire and Parke from Mayo, due to be played at Old Bedian’s, Manchester, has also been called off.
It is a similar story for London, as this weekend’s All Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship quarter-final clash between London champion’s Kilburn Gaels and Kilkenny’s Dicksboro, scheduled for Ruislip, has also been cancelled. A decision on the rescheduling of this game will take place on Monday.
