Lancashire senior champions, St Peters were crowned All Britain Club Champions last Sunday when they had a deserving win over Birmingham’s, Sean McDermott’s at Old Bedians Rugby Club in Manchester.
A late burst of scores from St Peters saw off the challenge of the Warwickshire champions, who when looking back at this game, will surely rue missed chances throughout. The final score was St Peters 3-12 (21) to Sean McDermotts 2-04 (10) and St Peters now go on to play the Connacht Junior Champions, Parke from Mayo who accounted for Leitrim’s Eslin last Sunday. The match is set for Britain on November 28th. Here to tell us about the All Britain final is Warwickshire PRO, George McGuigan.
