#123 Down to last four in Milwaukee

So the much anticipated Milwaukee Hurling Championship playoffs arrived at Brown Deer Park on Sunday last and they didn’t disappoint. The first quarter final of the day between Shamrock Club and The Irish Pub was a real dogged affair with both sets of defences on top early on, however a late goal in the second half from the leagues top performers Shamrock Club saw them home with four to spare. County Clare looked like they were going to upset the odds when putting three early goals passed their more fancied opponents, Packy’s. But as the game progressed, experience and a slightly better balanced side, aided Packy’s with a 4th quarter red card shown to a  ‘Clare player making all the difference with the favorites pulling away in the end.  After establishing an early lead, Tracks shut down Trinity in the second period to take the win in their quarter final while McBob’s midfield proved too hot to handle for Slim’s.  Here to tell us about the games is MHC’s Karen Fink.
