#119 Thrilling action in the Bronx

This weekend we had some thrilling action at Gaelic Park in the Bronx where a final and two semi finals went right down to the wire.  In the Under 21 New York Championship Final yesterday, we saw a late goal from last year’s champions NY St Barnabas deny NY Celtics in a fantastic contest. We had two semi finals down for decision in ladies football with the Cavan and Fermanagh tie producing great drama as it ended in stalemate after normal time. In OT the sides still could not be separated and the replay is now down for Wednesday night. In the other semi final, Kerry/Donegal put it up to holders Na Fianna but late scores was enough to put the champs into another final. Meanwhile, the only mens senior football championship clash saw an important table win for NY Tyrone over NY Cavan. Here to tell us about those games is NY reporter, Eugene Kyne.
