A blistering second half performance by last year’s Intermediate champions, St Barnabas of Nottingham proved too much for local team John Mitchell’s in last Sunday’s Warwickshire GAA senior football championship semi final at Pairc na hEireann, Birmingham. In a game of two halves that saw ‘Mitchells look in control at the interval, the Nottingham team turned it around in the second period and taking their scoring chances when presented, ran out 4 point winners in the end.
