Last weekend saw some excellent fare in the Boston Northeast GAA Championships in Canton, MA. In Ladies senior football, Shamrocks gained revenge for their recent defeat to last year’s champions Tir na N’Og with an impressive win. In senior hurling, an improving Tipp boosted greatly by new Kilkenny imports, got the better once more of NACB champs, Wexford. In mens senior football, Kerry got back on track with a win over rivals Cork, while Armagh Notre Dame and Donegal especially got some badly needed points on the board, and, Wolfe Tones continue their good form with an easy win over Mayo. Here to tell us about the action is Boston GAA reporter, Rory O’Donnell.
