Since its foundation in 2003, the Western Canada Division (WCD), has been steadily laying the foundations for a growing Gaelic sports scene in the region. The division has five clubs comprised of the three founding clubs of the Calgary Chieftains, Edmonton Wolfe Tones, and the Vancouver Harps, but recent progress has seen others join – Red Deer Eire Og (2008) and the Vancouver Celts (2009) , and, there’s a couple more on the horizon. Here to tell is about the new GAA division in Canada is Western Canada Chairman, Corkman Ronan Deane.
