Last year’s Northeast GAA football champions, St Christophers, after a slow start to 2010, are back on track after a good win last weekend over Boston football powerhouse, Donegal. It was fitting that no less than four American players contributed to the victory for ‘Christophers on this Fourth of July weekend at Canton, MA. Also, Aidan McAnespies continue to impress with a comfortable win over Kerry, while 2009 runners-up Shannon Blues, just managed to hold on in their clash with Connemara Gaels. Meanwhile in the Hurling Championship, a strong second half showing by Galway secured the win over an improving Cork outfit. Here to tell us about the games is Boston GAA reporter, Rory O’Donnell.
