With their win last Saturday over Shannon Blues, Aidan McAnespies have three wins from three games and as a result go top of the Senior Football Championship Table in Boston. On Sunday in Canton, ’09 champions St Christopher’s drew with 14 man ‘Tones who salvaged a point with a last gasp late score. In other games, Armagh ND proved too good for Cork, while Galway got some badly needed points in their thrilling game with Mayo, who also had a player sent off. In Senior Hurling there was more fireworks as Galway, in their clash with Tipp, saw one of their players see red and the extra man for the blue and gold helped Tipperary edge out a point victory. Meanwhile. Wexford hurlers welcomed back Corkman Stephen White to the fold and he helped his side to a comfortable wn over Fr. Tom’s. Close games and fiery tempers and here to tell us about it all is Boston GAA reporter, Rory O’Donnell.
