GaelicSportsCast today takes a look back to the fourth and final round of the North West European Regional Mens Football Championship held recently in Paris. Despite weather worries, the tournament was a great success with Belgium A winning the day for the ladies while in the mens section, hosts Paris Gaels ran out 4 point winners over Jersey. All French team St Malo came in a very creditable 3rd place and finished in the same spot overall in the NW Points Table for 2010. They, like other newly formed French teams, have been putting in some eye catching perfomances with speed an important factor of their game, and, each match sees an improvement in Gaelic football nous! Paris Vice Chairman and referee, Mike Cryan told us all about the tournament as did recent newcomer and former Leitrim club footballer, Paddy McEneaney, who also gave his prespective on playing football in Europe.
