The South East Asian Gaelic Games games took place two weekends ago in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Some 130 players from 9 teams throughout South East Asia gathered at the Jakarta International School grounds to compete for glory with the Singapore Lions showing their strength coming out winners in both mens and ladies football. The tournament went off without a hitch and it will act as a great boost locally for this fledgling two year old club in this hot and humid region just south of the equator.  The Jakarta Dragonflies Club was co-founded by Mick O’Malley and John Galvin, and John spoke to GaelicSportscast  about the tournament and this growing club in Indonesia.
