#56 Bros Pearse claim Ronan Cup in London

Bros Pearse

Last Sunday in Ruislip an unusual pairing was thrown together in that  it was a case of the old versus the new when London’s oldest GAA club Brothers & Shalloe Pearse GAA Club took on new club Michael Cusacks in the final of the Ronan Cup Hurling competition. They had met earlier in the ‘Cup with the more experienced Bros Pearse emphatic winners then but this time it was a much closer affair as the game had to go to extra-time. Bros Pearse’s eventually overcame their young rivals in OT on a scoreline of 3-14 (23) to ‘Cusacks 2-10 (16). Also on the weekend we saw London take on and beat Monaghan in the Ulster Hurling Championship in Casement Park and here to tell us about both games is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.
