Last Sunday at Treasure Island in San Francisco, the big game in Mens Senior Football in the St Patrick’s Cup saw Sean Treacys gain some measure of revenge for their defeat to Ulster in last year’s championship final. This time Treacys recorded an easy victory when running out 10 point winners over their great rivals on a scoreline of 2-12 (18) to Ulster’s 1-5 (8). In another St Pat’s Cup game, the fancied San Fran Celts were upset by Sons of Boru when losing by 1-4 (7) to Boru’s 3-9 (18). Earlier today San Francisco GAA Registrar Louth man, Andrew Brennan gave us a rundown on the games.
