Happy faces all-round from Begium after winning Rd 2 at The Hague
The Benelux Region on the Continent is regarded as the powerhouse of Mens Gaelic Football in Europe. Last weekend we saw Round 2 of the Benelux Mens Regional Football Championship take place at The Hague in Holland. It was The Hague who had won Round 1 in Amsterdam back in March and they again reached the closing stages last weekend, this time meeting great rivals Belgium A in the decider. In a thrilling final that went to extra time, Belgium A prevailed by the narrowest of margins. Reporting for GaelicSportscast was ECB Secretary and PRO, Dublin native, Tony Bass.
